Menabrea Perfect Pint – Full terms and conditions

1.) These terms and conditions prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials. Entry instructions are deemed to form part of the Terms and Conditions and by participating, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the terms and conditions. Please retain a copy for your information.

 

2.) This competition is open to customers in Scotland only. 18+ excluding employees of the Promoter or their immediate families, its associated agents or anyone else professionally associated with the administration of the Promotion. Proof of age and employment may be required. Promoter reserves the right to exclude any entrant who does not meet the entry requirements set out in these terms and conditions.

 

3.) Promoter: Tennent Caledonian Breweries UK Limited, Wellpark Brewery, 161 Duke Street, Glasgow, G31 1JD.

 

4.) Entry open 1st September 2024 to 30th September 2024 (“Entry Period”)

 

Entry Requirements and Winner Selection

5.) To enter use the QR code to complete the Menabrea Perfect Pint Training (the “Training”) and be automatically entered into Mystery Shopper draw.

 

6.) Multiple members of staff from each outlet may complete the Training, however an outlet will only be entered into the draw once in total.

 

7.) One hundred (100) outlets shall be selected at random to progress to Mystery Shopper Experience where an employee of the Promoter shall anonymously attend at the outlet and carry out the Mystery Shopper Experience (whereby they shall order a pint of Menabrea and observe and score the outlet’s Perfect Pint attempt. The outlet shall not be informed in advance that this is taking place.

 

8.) All one hundred outlets who are randomly selected for a Mystery Shopper experience shall be eligible for a prize, with the top 50 scoring outlets winning the prizes.

 

9.) There will be one winner of the top prize (see Prize and Prize Fulfilment).

 

Prize and Prize Fulfilment

10.) There are one hundred prizes to be won, consisting of:

– X70 pieces of official Menabrea merchandise

-X29 £100 account credit;

-One top prize trip to Italy (“Top Prize”).

 

11.) One prize per outlet.

 

12.) The highest scoring outlet shall receive the Top Prize.

 

13.) If more than one outlet share the top score, those with identical scores shall be entered into a draw, and one outlet shall be drawn at random to win the Top Prize.

 

14.) The Top Prize is a trip to Italy for two outlet employees, including a 3 night stay, flights (from Scotland) and accommodation.

 

15.) The Top Prize must be taken between 2nd January 2025 & 28th February 2025.

 

16.) In the event the winner is unable to participate in Top Prize between the dates required, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw prize entitlement and reach out to the entrant who came second in the competition.

 

17.) Travel insurance is not included as part of the Top Prize.

 

18.) Winners must have a valid passport to travel to Italy and must follow any Government travel guidelines in place at the time of the Top Prize.

 

19.) The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be sold, auctioned or redeemed for monetary value or for any other form of compensation. If for any reason any element of the Prize is not available, Pernod Ricard reserves the right, at its sole discretion to substitute another Prize for it, of equal or greater value.

 

General

20.) The Promoter reserves the right to suspend, vary or cancel the competition without notice as it may reasonably require if circumstances make this unavoidable (including, but not limited to, where entry uptake is insufficient, in the Promoter’s absolute discretion).

 

21.) In the event of any dispute, the decision of the Promoter is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

 

22.) If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these Terms and Conditions, the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation but will always endeavour to minimise the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.

 

23.) The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.

 

24.) Internet access required. Participants are responsible for their own costs associated with accessing the internet. These costs may vary so please check with your service provider for current charges. Participants should seek the permission of the person paying the bill before entering. The Promoter has no control over internet or communication networks and is not liable for any problems associated with them due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise. The Promoter will not be held liable to any individual for any fraud committed by any third party nor for any event beyond its control including, but not limited to, user error and any network, computer, hardware or software failures of any kind which may restrict, delay or prevent a participant’s entry to the promotion.

 

25.) If any of these conditions should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining conditions shall survive and remain in full force and effect.

 

26.) The Promoter will only use the personal details supplied for the administration of the competition and for no other purpose, unless we have your consent. Your personal details will at all times be kept confidential and in accordance with current Data Protection legislation. The Promoter will treat your personal data in accordance with their Privacy Policy, which is available here: https://www.menabrea.co.uk/privacy-policy/. You can request access to your personal data, or have any inaccuracies rectified, by sending an email to GDPR@candcgroup.com. Data will be stored for three months after the end of the relevant Entry Period before deletion. By participating in the Promotion, you agree to the use of your personal data as described here.

 

27.) Any question concerning the legal interpretation of the rules will be based on Scottish law and the Courts of Scotland will have exclusive jurisdiction.
